University Comes Up With Ingenious Solution To Human Traffic Jams Caused By Texting While Walking

There's nothing more infuriating than getting caught up in a traffic jam because someone is trying to text while they walk.

Step in Utah Valley University. They've come up with an ingenious solution to stop people getting held up on the stairs...

The stairs are split into three sections for walking, running or texting.

There are some flaws in this otherwise perfect plan. Mainly that there's not a lane for going down the stairs, and the running lane is in the middle which could cause some problems, but who are we to judge?

The school's creative director told Time it's meant to be an art project, not official policy.
