Kind Strangers Pledge Money To Give Bride With Memory Loss A Second Wedding To Remember

Husband's Touching Act For Wife With Memory Loss Will Make You Tear Up

Wedding day memories are often the most treasured.

But for one newlywed bride, the fond memories of her wedding day were wiped the moment a car smashed into the back of her at more than 50mph.

Justice Stamper, 20, was travelling to her aunt's house when the collision happened.

"She was nearly killed in the impact but by the grace of God she survived," said her husband, Jeremy. "The injuries were endless."

Justice was lucky to survive the crash, but sadly her memory of their wedding day 19 days previous had vanished.

In fact, for some time she didn't even know she was married.

A month after the accident, Justice told her husband: "I don't want you to be mad, but I do not remember the wedding."

Heartbroken, Jeremy vowed that he would do it all again for her. And that's exactly what he's set out to do.

Jeremy now hopes to give his wife a wedding to remember and has enlisted the help of strangers on the internet to raise money for another ceremony.

"She didn't even know we were married. She couldn't believe it," he said. "I promised her I would take care of her and now here we are: The Stamper Wedding Round 2."

The pair first married in August 2014, in a stunning ceremony in the Smokey Mountains.

"We were at the top of the world, newlyweds and our whole lives ahead of us," said Jeremy.

Little did he know that 19 days later their lives would be turned upside down.

On their GoFundMe page, Jeremy revealed that it's not just the couple's wedding that his wife can't remember.

"She has memory loss from about five weeks before the wedding," he said, "which is when we actually started to plan and put the wedding into motion.

"I was heart broken and instantly said I would do it all again for her."

Jeremy has so far managed to raise $3,139 out of his $5,000 target and hopes to hold the ceremony on their first anniversary.

"We have truly been through some rough times," he wrote on the page. "Please, I ask for whatever you can give to help me give my wife, Justice Stamper, the perfect wedding (again)."
