Woman Whose Father Was Killed By A Drink Driver Offers Free Lifts To Drunk People

Woman's Dad Was Killed By A Drink Driver, Now She Offers Free Lifts To Drunks

A woman whose father was reportedly killed by a drink driver is determined to prevent others from suffering similar tragedies.

Angela, from Ohio, stood outside a bar on the second anniversary of her dad's death, offering free lifts to men and women who were over the legal drink driving limit.

She held a sign which read: "Hi, my name is Angela. If you have been drinking tonight, I'd like to offer you a free ride home.

"Two years ago this week, a man was drinking and driving and killed my father. In honour of his memory, I'd like to help keep the roads safe tonight."

Pictures of Angela's good deed were uploaded to Imgur under the username bcisaidiwould.

The account is thought to belong to one of her friends, who drove the car while she spoke to passengers they picked up from the street.

Unsurprisingly, Angela and her sign got a lot of attention from passers by.

And several people took her up on the offer of a free lift.

One woman was so overwhelmed by Angela's story that she gave her a hug.
