Kate Moss, Emma Bunton, Olly Murs, and Nicola Roberts are among the celebrities putting on their favourite pair of jeans styled with the brand-new 2015 Jeans for Genes T-shirt to raise awareness for the charity.

Jeans for Genes Day, which became a national appeal in 1992, is celebrated annually on 18 September and aims to highlight the importance of raising money to help children affected by life-threatening genetic disorders.

Other celebrities supporting the campaign and wearing their limited edition T-shirt include Angela Scanlon, Coleen Rooney, Katie Price, Caroline Quentin, TOWIE’s Sam and Billie Faiers, Made In Chelsea’s Lucy Watson, Louise Thompson and Tallia Storm.

According to the charity, it is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder, which is more than 30,000 babies newly diagnosed in the UK each year.

On Jeans for Genes Day people are encouraged to wear jeans to school or work and donate money to the charity.

The money raised funds a range of initiatives that improve the quality of life of children and families affected by genetic disorders.

The charity runs an annual grant programme open to UK support groups and charities caring for children with genetic disorders, as well as funding Genetic Disorders UK, the national charity dedicated to supporting families affected by genetic disorders.

This year's T-shirt has a hand-drawn design printed on it and the ‘Jeans for Genes’ wording woven into a hanger.

It was designed by a 20-year-old Edinburgh College of Art Illustration student, Elle McKee.

Available to buy for £20, anyone can purchase the T-shirt and wear it alongside the celebrities, too.

Many celebrities who have donned their limited edition T-shirts have also tweeted out support for the charity to raise awareness.
