'Fun House' Returns As Special One-Off Event Hosted By Pat Sharp

90s Kids Rejoice - 'Fun House' Is Back! Well, Sort Of...

Pat Sharp has given children of the '90s a serious dose of nostalgia, after bringing back classic kids TV show ‘Fun House’.

The presenter opened the doors to the to the famous assault course for a one-off event over the weekend, where he was joined by his original sidekicks, twins Melanie and Martina Grant.

Sadly though, the special edition of the game show did not mark its return to TV.

Instead pub chain Fayre and Square had teamed up with Wacky Warehouse to give four family teams the chance to compete for a family holiday worth £1,000.

The competition saw a quiz round for the children, where parents from the losing team were gunged, while a Build a Burger relay game featured both generations working together to retrieve an oversized burger from a ball-pit.

Speaking of bringing back ‘Fun House’, albeit in a slightly different format, Pat said: "The return of ‘Fun House’ as a one-off live event was as wacky, fun and outrageous as you could wish for!

"It was a brilliant twist to allow adults to take part this time around and we had such an exciting day re-running the fun, with prizes, gunge, and all the excitement you would expect from ‘Fun House’!"

‘Fun House’ originally aired from 1989 to 1999 on ITV, with nearly 150 episodes made.
