'Cash Bomb' Twist Leaves 'BB' Chloe Up For Eviction

Big Brother’ housemate Chloe Wilburn was surprised to have been stabbed in the back by her fellow contestant Nick Henderson, in Monday night’s show.

Nick was one of four housemates who had been put up for eviction as part of Big Brother’s Cash Bomb twist, where the group were required quickly to decide who should be nominated, or have the eventual winner’s cash prize continuously slashed.

However, the twists weren’t over yet, and Nick was thrown a lifeline by Big Brother, when the nominated housemates were told they could spend some of the winner’s prize fund to save themselves from eviction… though it would mean Chloe went up in their place.

All four nominated contestants were told they could bid an amount of money to save themselves and put Chloe up for the chop instead.

Harry Amelia, Jack McDermott and Sam Kay - the other three nominated contestants - all bid nothing, with Harry claiming: “I got nominated for genuine reasons and I’m not going to take that away from anyone.”

The group was then visibly shocked when Nick bid £5,000, insisting that being in the ‘Big Brother’ final was something he’d “wanted his whole life”.

A disappointed Chloe remarked: “Turns out you can put a price on friendship.”

She later told Nick that she wasn’t angry with him, but couldn’t have done what he did to one of her housemates, although Harry was less than forgiving, telling him: “Winners don’t buy their way into a final.”

‘Big Brother’ continues on Tuesday night, at 10pm on Channel 5.
