Wimbledon 2015: Mike Bushell Defends Marion Bartoli Hug, But Viewers Want To See More After Touchy BBC Tennis Interview

BBC's Mike Bushell In Touchy TV Interview With Tennis Ace Marion Bartoli

BBC Breakfast's sports presenter Mike Bushell has defended himself after hugging one of the programme's guests during a live interview - but it seems viewers are in favour of them and the guest didn't mind at all.

Standing on Wimbledon's centre court, Bushell later appeared a little embarrassed as he told tennis star Maion Bartoli that he was a "very huggy person".

He said: "I've been told off for hugging people too much."

"You're one of the cuddliest people I've ever met," Bushell added, after Breakfast presenter Charlie Stayt made light of the embrace.

Judging by the reactions on Twitter, Mr Bushell has nothing to apologise for.
