Kim Kardashian has come under fire after promoting the morning sickness drug Diclegis on her official Instagram page.

The pregnant star, who has made no secret of the fact that she suffers from the condition, shared a snap of her holding the drug, claiming she’d been prescribed it by her doctor.
“OMG. Have you heard about this?” she captioned the pic. “As you guys know my#morningsickness has been pretty bad. I tried changing things about my lifestyle, like my diet, but nothing helped, so I talked to my doctor.
“He prescribed me#Diclegis, I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby. I’m so excited and happy with my results that I’m partnering with Duchesnay USA to raise awareness about treating morning sickness.
“If you have morning sickness, be safe and sure to ask your doctor about the pill with the pregnant woman on it.”
But fans have hit out at the reality star for backing a pharmaceutical brand with many asking how much she was paid to back the drug.
“Wow. How much did they pay you to do this ad?” asked one fan.
“Everything is an opportunity to make money for her,” said another.
Another fan added: “Morning sickness is normal and doesn’t need awareness being raised about it. This is just cash for comment”.

Others expressed their concern that Kim was using a drug to treat morning sickness rather than exploring natural remedies.
“I can't imagine any long term studies on this drug:( and what pregnant mom would what to take part in this drug?” asked one fan.
Another added: “Still be careful. Meds are still chemical.”
The 34-year-old star opened up about her morning sickness last month, admitting that some days she found it difficult to even get out of bed.
“I've had really bad morning sickness, day sickness, night sickness,” she told US Weekly. “I can barely get out of bed.”
And back in June she took to Twitter to share after a particularly bad bout, writing: “So f*****g sick today on all levels! UGHHHHHHHHH I can't deal!!!!!!!!! Praying I get through the day!
