Myleene Klass has opened up about her divorce from the husband of her two children just one day after Graham Quinn attacked the star on Twitter.

The 37-year-old star told Woman magazine that she thought she’d ‘never smile again’ following the acrimonious split from her former bodyguard in 2001 after just six months of marriage.

"I felt so betrayed and so crushed,” she told the mag. “But I couldn't wallow in it. I said to my mum and dad, 'I'm broken, but I will not sink".
"I thought I'd never smile or trust anyone ever again".
The TV presenter and musician also revealed that it was her daughters Ava, seven, and Hero, four, who helped her through the pain of the divorce.
"I just had to keep going because my girls would be up every morning asking me to make breakfast or fetch their recorders,” she says. “My girls saved me."

Despite Myleene and Graham divorcing three years ago, tensions remain high between the pair, with Graham hitting back at his ex-wife in a bitter Twitter rant on Monday.
Graham saw red after Myleene gave an interview to the Daily Mail in which she claimed she lost money during their divorce.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "I've stayed quiet for three years now but enough is enough.
"Please explain to me how I took your money? I lost so much money from our divorce and our house that we bought together."
"One day I hope you will put the interests of your children first and let them see their father…. Instead of focusing on what lies you can tell to boost your career."
