It was a bit stormy across much of Europe over the weekend and while most of us could simply hide indoors, the same wasn't true if you happened to fly a plane for a living.

This pant-soiling footage of a Boeing 777 landing in high winds at Amsterdam's Schipol Airport is a worthy testament to their skill.

The KLM 777-300ER pitches and rolls dramatically right up until the moment the wheels - thankfully - make contact with solid ground.

The storm that hit the country was in fact the worst July storm ever recorded prompting a "Code Red" warning from authorities.

One person was killed when a tree fell on his car in the eastern province of Gelderland.
