'EastEnders' Danielle Bows Out For Good

‘EastEnders’ bosses have confirmed that Tuesday night’s (28 July) show included Danielle Harold’s last ever scenes.

Viewers saw the actress’s character Lola Pearce make an emotional exit, bidding goodbye to her grandad Billy Mitchell.

Lola decided to leave the Square following Jay Mitchell’s arrest for a robbery, that took place in connection with Lucy Beale’s murder last year.

After Jay’s arrest she packed up and left, heading to Newcastle.

Speaking when her exit was first announced earlier this year, Danielle shared her happiness at being part of the soap, stating: "I've had the most amazing time at ‘EastEnders’ having been involved in some exciting storylines, including giving birth in a live scene.

"I'll miss everyone here and am looking forward to the future."

There have been a number of changes to the ‘EastEnders’ cast recently, and there are still more to come, including Jake Wood’s exit.

The news that Jake is leaving already has fans guessing as to how Max Branning will depart Walford, and at the moment, it looks as though he could be heading to prison for murder.

Declan Bennett, who plays Charlie Cotton, is also set to leave the soap.
