‘Emmerdale’ aired the much-hyped dramatic, helicopter crash scene on Tuesday night (4 August), leaving fans guessing as to who will survive the accident.
Chrissie Sugden was responsible for the huge accident, and she caused it by setting fire to husband Robert’s car, unaware that there were nearby gas canisters.

The canisters exploded, hitting a helicopter, which came crashing down towards Pete and Debbie Dingle’s wedding party.

The happy day wasn’t exactly going to plan, and Debbie’s affair with Ross, who is the father of her mother’s youngest child, had just been revealed to the whole congregation.
Viewers have been left guessing as to who will survive, and Debbie Dingle’s life is currently in the balance.
More explosion scenes will air on Wednesday and Thursday
Bosses have confirmed that regular characters will die in the coming week, and the stunts aren’t over yet, as the crash is set to cause another explosion.
‘Emmerdale’ is on ITV1 on weeknights at 7pm. There’s an extra episode on Thursday 6 August at 8pm.
