The patriotic new ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ eye has been unveiled, ahead of the launch of this summer’s series, later in the month.

‘Bit On The Side’ host Rylan Clark debuted the new-look eye on his Twitter page on Friday, admitting that the announcement was doubly exciting because of the Spice Girls reunion that had been reported earlier in the day.
In keeping with the ‘UK vs USA’ theme of this summer’s series, the eye has been adorned with the Stars and Stripes flag, as well as Britain’s Union Jack, and the results are well…
...a little bit garish to say the least.
It was previously reported that the series’ theme would also see the house undergoing a dramatic transformation, while contestants from both sides of the Atlantic went head-to-head in an “epic” battle.
So far, it’s not known who will be entering the house, although that hasn’t stopped people from speculating.
Among the British celebs thought to be taking part are ‘Loose Women’ panelist Sherrie Hewson, Internet "comedian" Dapper Laughs and “selfie queen” Karen Danczuk.
Meanwhile, among the potential American housemates are ‘Teen Mom’-turned-pornstar Farrah Abraham and supermodel extraordinaire Janice Dickinson.
However, one famous face thought to be causing a bit of grief for producers before the show has even begun is Australian ‘Dancing On Ice’ judge Jason Gardiner, with bosses reportedly unsure exactly which side to place him on.
Emma Willis will host the launch of this summer's 'Celebrity Big Brother' on Channel 5, later in the month.
