A-Level Results Day 2015: Students Shun Jumping For Subtle Celebrations

Where Have All The Jumping A-Level Girls Gone?

Thousands have shared their A-Level results day photographs across social media, highlighting an interesting development: the ubiquitous image of students jumping for joy whilst clutching their results may well be falling out of favour.

With positioning requiring concentration and determination, journalists admit the ‘set piece’ is actually difficult to pull off.

And the photos have been ridiculed in recent years, with A-Level results day branded ‘student levitation day’ as a result of an overload of picture perfect poses.

Yet that didn't stop professional press photographers from doing it anyway...

But away from media photo calls, students, teachers and parents are opting for an altogether more subtle approach to photographing results day. Tweet us your photos of result day at HuffPost UK Young Voices.
