Peter Andre has been confirmed for the upcoming series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The singer has been on the list of rumoured contestants for a number of months, and he’s now been named as the seventh celebrity who’ll be getting his dancing shoes on later this year.

Peter has shared his excitement ahead of getting started, stating: “‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is an incredible show.
“I’ve always loved watching it on TV and to be honest I’m flattered to have been asked to take part before, but due to certain work commitments was unable to.
“I now feel the time is right to give it a go - everything has just clicked into place to do it this year. Wish me luck please…argh!!”
Back in June, Peter hinted that he could be signing up, telling OK!: “It’s one of the best shows on telly and I do love to dance.”
The ‘Insania’ singer will be up against stars including ‘EastEnders’ actress Kellie Bright, broadcaster Jeremy Vine and Ainsley Harriott.
Former ‘Corrie’ star Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham and Carol Kirkwood will also be getting their dancing shoes on, and learning the difference between te foxtrot and the fandango.
