Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Shares Make-Up Free Bed Pic, After Being Promoted To Executive Producer On 'X Factor'

It’s no wonder Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is looking super pleased with herself in her latest Instagram snap.

The ‘X Factor’ judge just shared a ‘I woke up like this’ picture with fans, as it was revealed she’s been made an executive producer on the ITV talent show.

A make-up free Chezza could be seen lying in bed with her hair in a bun, writing: “Morning #messyhurrdontcurr.”

The HuffPost UK blogger was handed a promotion by boss Simon Cowell, helping him and the other producers make big decisions on the show.

"This year, Simon wanted me more involved in the decision making,” she told the Daily Star.

"He wanted to know my ideas, what I thought, who I thought would be good. I get excited and blurt things out and then he'll say, 'That's actually a really good idea. OK, so tell us more. What do you think? What would you change?'

"And I'd just say, even if it's stuff he thinks is absolutely ridiculous."

She added: "We have creative moments together. We work really well off camera, just him and me in a meeting. So I've a few ideas for this year."

Simon also said: “I naturally consult Cheryl more because she's been working with me for a long time.

"She does have great instincts, I've got to hand it to her. She's passionate about the show and isn't just in it for the cash. She's very involved and she's definitely happier than a year ago, much happier."

Changes to the show this year have seen Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw added to the panel, and Caroline Flack and Olly Murs replace host Dermot O’Leary.

‘The X Factor’ returns to ITV this Saturday at 8pm.
