Stolen Pug Recognises Its Owner As They Are Reunited

A Stolen Pug Being Reunited With Its Owner Is The Best Thing You'll See Today

A stolen pug has been reunited with her owner in scenes of an extremely adorable nature.

Lola the dog was taken from Kate Witham's home in Essex during a burglary.

Three people were arrested in connection with the robbery, which led police at Harlow Police Station to retrieve the canine and give her back to her rightful owner.

The moment the pair were reunited

The officer holding the pooch could hardly contain the little one's excitement as she saw her owner from afar.

Lola can be seen running and jumping into her arms in happiness.

Once reunited, Witham said: “I had been so worried about Lola since she went missing so when I got the call from the police I was over the moon.

"As soon as I saw her, her little tail went into overdrive and I instantly knew it was her. I am just so happy to have her back.”

Despite the arrests, police say they are still searching for the perpetrator.

Detective Inspector Alison Hooper said: “We have been working hard to tackle a recent spike in burglaries and car crime in the Harlow area and these arrests are just part of our response.

"We have also recently charged another man with conspiracy to steal and two others with burglary and they are currently before the courts.

"If anyone has information which could assist our enquiries then I would urge them to call Harlow CID on 101."
