Snapchat has released an update for iOS and Android which adds in-app purchases allowing users to see three extra replays for $0.99.

In a blog, the site said;

"We’ve provided one Replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating the millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a Replay."

"But then we realized — a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?"

Commenting on the fact that it'll cost almost a dollar every time you want to see a few extra replays Snapchat admitted "They’re a little pricey — but time is money!"

It should be noted that this does not give you ability to use multiple replays on the same snap, it simply means you'll be allowed to view more than one replay a day across multiple snapchats.

While the UK won't get additional replays, both US and UK users will get access to Lenses, a new feature which lets you distort your face in realtime.

You simply press down on your face when taking a selfie, the app will then scan your face and allow you to add different filters, the results of which are....interesting to say the least.

The update is available to download now via iOS 8+ and the latest versions of Android.
