Hollywood played host to the Emmy Awards on Sunday (20 September) night, as the stars of the small screen descended on the red carpet ahead of the 67th annual ceremony, which honours the best of US TV.
Flying the flag for Britain were the likes of Ricky Gervais, Homeland’s Damian Lewis, expectant mum Cat Deeley and her husband Patrick Kielty, ‘Downton Abbey’ stars Laura Carmichael and Joanne Froggatt, and ‘Game Of Thrones’ actors Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie and Alfie Allen.
Among the other stars lining up outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles included Lady Gaga, ‘Empire’ matriarch Taraji P. Henson, ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge Heidi Klum, former ‘Glee’ star Jane Lynch, Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks, Orange Is The New Black’s Laverne Cox, Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon, 'Episodes' star Matt LeBlanc and Homeland’s Claire Danes.
