Nadiya, Ian and Tamal will all go head-to-head during next week’s final, as they battle it out to be crowned Britain’s best amatuer baker.

And the bookies have now declared who they consider the favourite to scoop victory.

Nadiya is currently marked as the top pick with bookmakers William Hill, with odds of 2/5, while Ian is the 7/2 second favourite to whip the opposition.

Tamal looks like he will be the one left with soggy bottom, ranked as the 5/1 outsider.

“Nadiya is clear favourite and it will take a strong soufflé to knock her off the top spot,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

“We reckon by the end of next week’s show, she will look like the cat that has got the buttercream.”

The final decision rests with judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, but who would YOU like to see follow in the footsteps of Edd Kimber, Joanne Wheatley, John Whaite, Frances Quinn and Nancy Birtwhistle?

Have your say in our poll below…

‘The Great British Bake Off’ airs next Wednesday (7 October) at 8pm on BBC One.
