John Oliver Slays Theresa May And The Snoopers' Charter On 'Last Week Tonight'

You know we're dealing with a pretty ridiculous issue when John Oliver decides to dredge it across the Atlantic and tell Americans about it.

On Sunday's episode of 'Last Week Tonight', John started with a rather cutting segment about the Investigatory Powers Bill currently being pushed through the UK parliament byHome Secretary Theresa May.

In his own way, John decided to launch a scathing attack and point out exactly what's wrong with the Snoopers' Charter.
