Black Friday Is The Day You'll Buy Yourself A PS4 And This Is Why

Black Fridayis finally upon us and on the 27 November the public will have the chance to experience the biggest shopping day of the year. Combined with Cyber Monday it means the PS4, Xbox One and all the latest games will be flying off the shelves in quantities not seen since Sony and Microsoft first announced their next-gen consoles.

You see, while Black Friday is the perfect time to bag yourself a bargain on an iPad or a 4K Smart TV it's actually one of the best times of year to pickup an amazing deal on a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or any of the biggest video games of the year.

With stores like Game, John Lewis and Amazon all getting in on the action you'll be able to get a bargain on copies of Metal Gear Solid 5, Project Cars, Witcher 3, Dying Light and more.

Black Friday was confirmed as the biggest online shopping day of the year in the UK for the first time in 2014 – with consumers parting with a whopping £810m - far exceeding the predicted spend of £363m.

GAME

Game will be taking part in Black Friday and Cyber Monday online and in store which is probably the best news you'll hear all year as a gamer. Promising deals as high as 50 per cent off Game's Black Friday bonanza has become the stuff of legends by offering video game bundles with consoles that'll push you to the limits of actually buying another Xbox One.

Game's big entrance to Black Friday 2015 is actually quite surprising after the company revealed that last years success during the sale event was so great that the company actually lost money.

How? They sold too much and for too little. The good news is it looks like Game has an action plan this time.

GameStop

GameStop has confirmed to the Huffington Post UK that it will be participating in Black Friday this year so come the 27 November you can expect the site to be showcasing some special deals on consoles and games.

They're remaining tight-lipped about how much they're planning to offer in terms of a discount but there's no harm in checking their website out on the day.

Amazon

Amazon's online Black Friday event has already started. Called 'Daily Deals' the company is offering up hourly discounts on some of its most popular items.

To make the most of its video games department though you'll need to wait until Black Friday when the company will properly kick off its retail celebration with huge discounts, hourly flash sales and some pretty impressive bundles to boot.

Amazon Warehouse is also offering some great deals on the latest pre-owned console bundles including PS4s, Xbox Ones and Nintendo 3DS XLs.
