Beauty Blogger Films Semen Facial, Claims It Cured Her Rosacea

Beauty Blogger Claims Semen Facials Give Her Perfect Skin

Beauty bloggers are known to promote some weird and wonderful skincare tips, but this one definitely takes the biscuit...

Meet Tracy Kiss (real name), the former glamour model who swears rubbing sperm on her face every day gives her perfect skin.

Yep, you read that right - and she's made a whole YouTube video to show us the process.

Well, not the whole process. But it still isn't the kind of facial we wanted to be looking at first thing in the morning.

However the 28-year-old, from Wendover, Bucks is keen to share the method with her 150k social media followers.

In the video she starts by explaining she is "not involved in the semen extraction", instead getting her daily pot of sperm delivered from a friend.

"I think a lot of people are concerned with the thought of putting semen on their face but it is a very natural thing and very healthy thing to do," she said.

After rubbing the semen all over her face in a circular motion, she then leaves it on for between five and 20 minutes before removing with water.

Kiss claims the routine has cured her rosacea, along with leaving her skin soft and healthy looking.

She said she came across the idea after reading about the popularity of the treatment in America.

Curious as to what a semen facial feels like? Here's what Kiss had to say in the video"

- "Semen builds babies, they come out very soft and have beautiful skin, and it leaves my skin nice and soft so I'm very happy to use this as a facial."

- "It feels like a face pack that pulls the skin inwards, it feels so glossy to wipe it off.

- "Its like having a kind of oil on the face or a wax where it just glides beautifully against the water.

- "Its so cooling and soothing."

HuffPost UK Style reached out to dermatologist Dr Alexis Granite from London's Cadogan Clinic to see if we should try it out at home...

"Sperm applied to the skin is unlikely to yield any real long term benefit. While is it high in proteolytic enzymes which could presumably break down dead skin cells and help skin appear smoother, you would need nearly daily application to maintain this benefit.

"It has also been widely reported that sperm is high in minerals such as Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium, however their concentrations are so low in any given sample that they are likely to exert any real effects on skin.

"The content and quality of sperm also varies from day to day and from person to person depending on diet and other lifestyle factors. There is even a risk of passing sexually transmitted disease from infected sperm to the eyes, nose or mouth if an infected sample is unwittingly applied to those areas.

"All in all, likely better and safer to skip this touted miracle cure and wait for the next one."

That's a no, then.
