'Breathing Earth' Video Is Freaking The Internet Out

Someone Filmed An Eerie Video Of The Earth 'Breathing'

Forests are not usually magical places. Well, that's what we thought until someone filmed a Canadian forest in action.

Brian Nuttall, who was walking around at Apple River in Nova Scotia, posted a video showing the ground slowly rise and fall as if it was breathing.

He later explained this incredibly weird occurrence after his Facebook post went viral.

"I believe the larger trees are doomed to blow down but are currently spared, the smaller trees around them help hold each other up, as the wind pushes the trees into one another," he said.

"The punishing prevailing winds have taken their toll on the side hill, the roots have loosened and the mossy ground from the once shaded forest floor are giving way, soon to be toppled over."

The video has been shared over 96,000 times since it was posted on November 1.
