An Instagram account celebrating "ugly" fruit and veg is fast becoming our favourite foodie photo feed.

The account, @UglyFruitAndVeg, showcases hilariously misshapen food but with an important social and environmental message.

"We waste 20-40% of produce worldwide because it's not 'perfect' yet 800 million are hungry," the page reads.
