The ‘Made In Chelsea’ star only joined the ITV reality show as a late entrant earlier this week, and had not even made it into the main camp.
An ITV spokesperson said: “Spencer Matthews has left the jungle. We're sorry to see him leave.”
A source added to The Mirror: “He has left the jungle on medical grounds.
“He was a great booking and was shaping up to be a great character. We are sorry to see him go.”
It is expected that Ant and Dec will reveal more details about his departure on tonight's (20 November) show.
Viewers saw Spencer take on hist first Bushtucker Trial alongside fellow late-comers Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison on Thursday night.
Before entering the jungle, he claimed he wanted to last as long as possible in there, telling Digital Spy: "I want to be challenged, physically and mentally. I enjoy putting myself through strenuous experiences – whether it be sporting experiences or giving myself goals.
"I'd like to be a finalist. I'd like to be there for the duration. That's my main aim."
'I'm A Celebrity' airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
