It was not quite a pile-up, but someone drove into David Cameron's official car outside No.10 on Wednesday morning as it waited to take the prime minister to the Commons for PMQs and the Autumn Statement.

The prime minister's spokesperson said of the bump: "When an official car was being manoeuvred it momentarily touched another car. No damage was done."
