Artificial Intelligence Firm Claims It Can 'Resurrect The First Human In 30 Years'

This Company Wants To Resurrect Dead People Using Artificial Intelligence

An artificial intelligence company has said it can resurrect human beings within the next 30 years.

Humai, a firm based in Los Angeles say their mission is to "reinvent the afterlife."

Their website states: "We’re using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioural patterns, thought processes and information about how your body functions from the inside-out.

"This data will be coded into multiple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human. Using cloning technology, we will restore the brain as it matures."

We know what you're thinking. This is sounds a little too wild and yes, this could all be an elaborate hoax or publicity stunt.

However, Humai's CEO and founder Josh Bocanegra has stood by the organisation's claims in an interview with PopSci.

"After death we’ll freeze the brain using cryonics technology. When the technology is fully developed we’ll implant the brain into an artificial body," he said.

"The artificial body functions will be controlled with your thoughts by measuring brain waves.

"As the brain ages we’ll use nanotechnology to repair and improve cells. Cloning technology is going to help with this too."

When asked about the timeline, he said: "We believe we can resurrect the first human within 30 years."

Bocanegra's claims are bold and the company is yet to reveal how far they've come in this process.

This is not the first time the human race has called upon Cryonics technology, in the aim to sustain life after death.

Last year one of Bitcoin's pioneers had his body cryonically preserved in the hopes of being resurrected later.
