Ferne McCann could be about to turn her back on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, following her success in the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle.

Since joining the docusoap two years ago, Ferne has never been far away from the centre of the ‘TOWIE’ drama but, after winning herself a new legion of fans, it has been claimed she could be about to go it alone in the TV world.
An insider tells the Daily Star: “Ferne came across amazingly well in the jungle, showed her true self and has won a new army of fans.

“It would be like taking 10 steps back to return to ‘TOWIE’ now where she will be subject to vicious jealous cast members… It isn’t appealing, so she’s planning to hand in her notice and do something different next year.”
Ferne finished in third place during Sunday’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ live final, behind Union J singer George Shelley and eventual winner Vicky Pattison.
However, her final challenge in the jungle was a particularly controversial one, with over 500 people complaining to Ofcom due to a Bushtucker Trial which saw Ferne eating a live water spider, in exchange for food for her campmates.
Her rumoured ‘TOWIE’ departure comes after a number of high-profile exits in recent times, including Mario Falcone and Gemma Collins.
Gemma is currently rumoured to be heading into the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house next month, alongside Vanilla Ice, Darren Day and Ola Jordan.
