Shia LaBeouf Launches (Another) Bizarre Art Project - And This Time You Can Phone Him

Shia LaBeouf Wants You To Give Him A Ring (In The Name Of Art, Obv)

It’s a case of another day, another bizarre art project for Shia LaBeouf, who has launched his latest installation in Liverpool.

For ‘Touch My Soul’, Shia’s inviting people to ring him, and he’ll be taking calls from anyone who cares to give it a try.

Shia and his collaborators Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner will be answering the phone during the hours of 11am and 6pm, until Sunday 13 December.

Should you fancy getting in touch, the number is 0151 808 0771, but we have to warn you, when we attempted to drop Shia a line, it was predictably busy.

The trio will be making notes as the project continues, and livestreaming it all on touchmysoul.net.

‘Touch My Soul’ is the latest in a long line of bizarre art projects from the actor, and it follows his November piece #AllMyMovies, which saw Shia watch all of his own films in one sitting. It was basically a giant episode of ‘Gogglebox’. Without any of the funny people.

He’s attempted to explain his newfound love for art on a number of occasions, telling the Guardian that it stemmed from “an animalistic urge to express love that I can't express in film".
