They’ll join their fellow ‘Strictly’ 2015 participants Ainsley Harriott, Georgia May Foote and Anita Rani on the road, alongside various stars from previous series.

Helen’s involvement comes following her surprise elimination in last weekend’s quarter-finals, despite being an initial favourite to take home the Glitter-ball trophy.

She says: “I had a brilliant time on ‘Strictly’, so I'm very excited to continue my journey and have the chance to show off some of my favourite dances to audiences on the UK Tour.”

Jay, meanwhile, has admitted he’s looking forward to performing in front of large arena audience with his pro partner, Aliona Vilani, having previously toured Britain as one-fifth of The Wanted.

He reveals: “I'm used to performing in front of massive crowds when touring with The Wanted, but performing with Aliona on the ‘Strictly Live’ Tour will be a totally different experience.

“I'm loving my time on the TV series, but the idea of being back out in front of live arena audiences is something I'm very much looking forward to.”

Other stars who’ll be hitting the dance floor around the UK next year include Jake Wood and Frankie Bridge, who participated in last year’s series.

Frankie was unable to take part in last year’s tour, as she discovered she was pregnant with her second child, but will now finally be able to throw her dancing shoes back on.

Meanwhile, just five couples remain in this year’s competition, with each pair performing two dances in Saturday night’s live semi-finals.
