Will Ferrell Is A Hip New Santa Claus On 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

We've been stuck with the same old Father Christmas for years, so 'Elf' star Will Ferrell decided it was time to modernise.

Sadly, his new version of St Nick was a bit... rubbish.

With bleached hair, bluetooth headset and boardshorts, Ferrell took to the stage on 'The Tonight Show' before sitting on the laps of a few audience members and even singing his own new Christmas song - a shameless rip-off of "Allstar" by Smashmouth.

He then went on to say he'd "bury" the traditional Kris Kringle, and delivered a few age-inappropriate gifts for Jimmy Fallon's kids.
