‘Strictly Come Dancing' Final: Katie Derham Admits Anita Rani Was A Better Dancer As She Prepares For Final Show

'Strictly' Katie Makes An Unexpected Admission Ahead Of The Final

Katie Derham has made a surprising admission ahead of the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ final, revealing that she thinks Anita Rani should have remained the competition following last week’s dance off.

Katie found herself up against the ‘One Show’ star on Sunday, and narrowly made it through to this weekend’s finale.

However, speaking ahead of the big night, Katie admitted that Anita danced better than her last week, stating: "We both danced our socks off but she had better socks than me that night.

"If Anita was here she'd be laughing alongside me. She and I have had the best time. We were in the dance-off and one of us had to go.

"She said to me, 'Mate, it's a format, it's fine.' That's the way it is. She's got loyal fans. I'm one.

"They're upset she didn't get through. But that's the show. And there was nothing either of us could do."

Who'll triumph this weekend?

Tonight (Saturday 19 December), Katie will go up against Jay McGuiness, Kellie Bright and Georgia May Foote in the battle for the glitterball trophy.

At present, Jay’s favourite to win, but with everything to play dance for, can one of the ladies pip him to the post?
