Neil deGrasse Tyson Takes Down 'Star Wars The Force Awakens' With Science

It has happened. Neil deGrasse Tyson, the famed scientist has commented on 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' with a wonderful list of what should really happen according to the pure facts of science.

Warning there are a few minor spoiler alerts ahead.

To begin with, his first observation is quite harmless.

And then he got a little picky, taking issue with the way BB-8 moves. Describing it as a "smooth rolling metal spherical ball," he said it would have skidded uncontrollably on sand.

Next, the TIE fighters came under fire, with Tyson pointing out that they "made exactly the same sound in the vacuum of space as in planetary atmospheres."

He also wanted Twitter to know that "the energy in a Star is enough to destroy ten-thousand planets, not just a few here & there" alongside a host of other scientific observations, which are quite impressive.
