Google has trumped #WoofWoofWednesday with a lovely gesture.
Tweeting from its UK account, it said: "To mark #WoofWoofWednesday, we're handing control of our Social channels to a Doogler. What could possibly go wrong?"
The result was endearingly muddled.

Google later tweeted:
Well that didn't go to plan. Normal service will be resumed as we tidy up.
Enjoy the rest of your #WoofWoofWednesday everyone.— Google UK (@GoogleUK) January 6, 2016
Twitter responded in kind, showing the "Doogler" a lot of love.
