Madonna's Son Rocco ‘Quit Her Tour' After A Typical Mother-Son Dispute

Madonna and her son Rocco Ritchie’s recent disputes have been well-documented, and now the alleged reason for his decision to quit her Rebel Heart tour in favour of staying in London with his dad Guy Ritchie has been revealed.

Madonna and her ex Guy Ritchie are currently locked in a legal battle over where the 15-year-old will live permanently, and new reports suggest that one of the factors behind Rocco’s rift with his mum is how strict she is when it comes to his schoolwork.

A source tells the Mirror that Madge wasn’t happy with the amount of time Rocco was spending on his phone, stating: “Madonna is quite firm with Rocco and she took his phone from him when it interfered with his studies.

"She is stricter than Guy and Rocco doesn’t like it. When she took the phone away, it pushed him over the edge.”

On Christmas Eve it was reported that Madonna and film director Guy are set for a court battle, following Rocco’s apparent refusal to travel to New York to spend the 25 December with his mother.

Madonna appeared at Manhattan Supreme Court on 24 December, where judge Deborah Kaplan ruled: “I’m directing the child to be returned to New York. If he wants to stay with his father, he must return to his mother.”

However since then, relations appear to have soured further and earlier this week, it was reported that Rocco has blocked his mother on Instagram, preventing her from seeing any of his uploads.
