‘Celebrity Big Brother' Contestant Stephanie Davis Vows to Turn Her Life Around After ‘Worst Few Years Of Her Life'

Stephanie Has High Hopes For Her 'CBB' Stint

Stephanie Davis has revealed that she’s hoping to turn her life around while in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house, admitting that she’s had a tough time of it in the past year.

Last summer, Stephanie was axed from ‘Hollyoaks’ and while she’s denied that frequent drinking was the reason for bosses’ upset, they’ve maintained that her penchant for nights out and turning up late were to blame.

Now, Stephanie has shed light on how she feels about her tumultuous year, stating: “The press have absolutely killed me off. I’ve had the worst few years of my life, to the point that I’ve picked myself up that many times, I’ve said ‘I can’t do this anymore’.

“This is probably the biggest, scariest thing I can do – I’m putting myself out there, I’m vulnerable, I’m on my own.

“They could absolutely annihilate me if they wanted to.

“I think people think I’m like my character, but I couldn’t be any more different. When people do meet me, they’re shocked to see what I’m really like. I just want to be myself on the show, for me and to make my family proud!”

While soap fans will recognised Stephanie from ‘Hollyoaks’, in which she played Sinead O’Connor, eagle-eyed viewers might also remember that she first found fame on the BBC’s ‘Over The Rainbow’ - on which her current housemate John Partridge was a judge.

The ‘CBB’ twists have already begun, and during the launch episode, John and Darren Day moved into a box, while the rest of the celebs enjoyed a party.

The first eviction will take place on Friday 8 January.
