After weeks of rumours, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is set to file for divorce from her husband Jean-Bernard, according to multiple reports.
The star hasn’t been seen in public with her partner, who she secretly married in July 2014, since last October, and it now looks as though their marriage is definitely over.
Cheryl and JB got hitched after just three months of dating
While the couple are yet to publicly confirm the split, a source tells The Sun: "Cheryl is divorcing JB on the grounds of his unreasonable behaviour. She has had enough of his jealousy.
“He didn’t like it when she had to spend time with other men and even became jealous when she was hanging out with her dogs.”
Meanwhile, another source is quoted as telling the Mirror: "In the end Cheryl realised she had married too soon and had been swept away by a bit of a whirlwind romance.
“Cheryl seems to want this over and done with as quickly as possible but it could be held up if she does have any talks with JB over a financial settlement.”
The insider also adds that the couple split in August, though they have remained on good terms.
In recent months, Cheryl and JB - who have previously been keen to quash all separation rumours - have not addressed the split reports, and via Instagram, Cheryl has fuelled speculation that the pair have gone their separate ways.
Likewise, Jean-Bernard has also changed his tune, and his Instagram account hasn't featured snaps of the star lately.
The couple’s marriage was revealed 18 months ago, when Cheryl confirmed her new relationship status with a rare, personal Instagram update.
Sharing a snap of her engagement and wedding ring, she wrote: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news.
“Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14.. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.”
