Millions of innocent Syrians are trying to survive in the most horrendous of circumstances, contending with multiple deadly threats on a daily basis.
As the conflict enters its fifth year, aid agencies are struggling to reach all those in need. Unicef estimates as many as two million children are still living without the aid they need, while the International Committee of the Red Cross estimate 12 million Syrians continue to suffer.
Meanwhile, the effects of the conflict continue to menace everyday life for civilians, dodging bullets and bombs, as well as disease, in their effort simply to survive in the war torn country.
