A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a smartly-dressed man in his 20s was stabbed to death in a rush hour attack near Morden Tube station in London.
One passer-by desperately tried to save the man by performing CPR on him for five minutes before the emergency services arrived at the scene near Morden station, just after 8am on Tuesday, the Evening Standard reported,
Another passerby was said to have made frantic calls to emergency services. Police attended the Kendor Gardens scene at 8.07am after being called by the London Ambulance Service, and found the man had suffered stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the deceased's next of kin had been informed, but a post mortem and formal identification would take place in "due course".
The victim was said to have been dressed in a trousers and shirt and was though to have walked through the gardens to access the tube station.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Reid said: "The stabbing occurred during the rush hour period and there would have been a number of people in the vicinity making their way to the train station. I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the stabbing or the events leading up to the incident to get in contact with us."
Police said a man was arrested on suspicion of wasting police time and subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder. He currently remains in custody at a south London police station.
