Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, who were mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the ITV talent show, said: “We are so happy to be joining the Syco Music family and releasing our record with them. It is, literally, a dream come true for us to now do what we love for a living.

“We promise to work hard and show you all what Reggie 'N' Bollie are made of. Here's to a fun 2016.”

The pair were beaten to the ‘X Factor’ 2015 crown by Louisa Johnson in last month’s grand finale.

However, she suffered disappointing sales figures for winner’s single ‘Forever Young’, which entered the charts at number nine, and also failed to win the Christmas number one, dropping to number 12 in the week of the festive chart.

This is a break from the usual tradition, which sees the winner launching their album campaign after the new series of ‘The X Factor’ has begun.

Reggie ‘N’ Bollie will join Louisa and some of the other finalists from last year’s series on the 25-date nationwide ‘X Factor’ arena tour, which begins in Aberdeen next month.
