The group were filmed in locations around London for the emotional music video, which sees them singing about a doomed romance in locations such as Tower Bridge, and the banks of the river Thames.

Jason Derulo also contributes a verse to the song, and appears in the video in an apartment overlooking the city.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are each filmed singing their lines individually in the video, while walking through the city at night time.

In the touching chorus, Perrie sings: “Why can't you hold me in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor? I wish that it could be like that, why can’t it be like that?”

Jade previously revealed on Twitter, in the lead-up to the track’s release, that they originally wrote it to highlight the struggles faced by LGBT people.

Jason’s verse was added later, which he says tells the true story of a girl he was dating who had a boyfriend, previously admitting to Digital Spy: “I told a true fucking story about this girl that I am really into but she has a boyfriend but we still do our thing.”
