Facebook Messenger Has A Secret Chess Game

Facebook has a hidden game of Chess in Messenger. Yes, we were surprised too.

You can play it by hitting a secret command that lets you challenge any of your friends to a battle of the minds.

To start the game, all you need to do is send "@fbchess play" to the person you would like to play with.

A miniature green and white Chess board then pops up.

To carry on with the game, you will need to is use 'Standard Algebraic Notation,' which sounds complicated but it is actually quite simple once you get the hang of it.
