They seemed like love’s young dream, but it’s all over for Louis Smith and Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The pair have split after calling time on their 14-month relationship.
A spokesperson for Olympian Louis confirmed the news to The Mirror, but declined to comment further.

However, a source told The Sun that they hit the rocks after discovering that “they wanted different things”, as Lucy wanted to settle down and start a family, while Louis is concentrating on his career as a gymnast.
They reportedly had a make-or-break holiday to Thailand over the Christmas period, but it failed to save their romance.
“They really hoped their holiday would bring them back together but if anything it just made things worse,” the source said.
“Louis really had led Lucy on in that they’d discussed marriage and kids at length – it came like a bolt out of the blue and doesn’t really make any sense to her.”
The pair started dating in 2014, after meeting on BBC One gymnastics show ‘Tumble’, where Louis was a judge and Lucy was a contestant.
Louis is currently in training for the Brazil Olympics later this year, while Lucy has also built a successful fitness empire since leaving ‘TOWIE’ in 2014.
