'The Jump': Sid Owen And Linford Christie Become Latest Stars Hit By Injury

Two More 'The Jump' Stars Suffer Nasty Injuries

We’ve started to lose count of the amount of ‘The Jump’ stars who’ve suffered injuries this year, and now another two can now be added to the list, as Linford Christie and Sid Owen have both been left needing medical attention.

Linford was forced to pull out of Sunday (7 February) night’s show due to a hamstring injury, while former ‘EastEnders’ star Sid injured himself live on TV after a nasty fall.

Oh dear... Sid Owen and Linford Christie are now injured too

Presenter Davina McCall reassured viewers that he would be fine, stating: "He's absolutely fine, he's just getting checked out by the physio. He's fine."

Meanwhile, Linford explained to The Sun that he hopes to return to the slopes and compete again next weekend.

“I landed funny and I can’t even touch my toes. I felt a pop. I’ve had a scan and get some treatment tomorrow.

“I should be back for next week. I am coming back.”

Linford and Sid’s accidents mean they join Beth Tweddle, Tina Hobley, Louisa Lytton, Rebecca Adlington and James ‘Arg’ Argent on the list of celebs who’ve needed medical attention during the series.

Gymnast Beth’s injuries were reported over the weekend, after she was airlifted to hospital, where she will now have surgery on her back.
