Former ‘X Factor’ contestant Jahmene Douglas has hit back at rumours he’s gone under the knife, following recent speculation about his appearance.
The singer, who was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger on the ITV talent show in 2012, was the subject of reports that he’d had surgery after new pictures he posted on Instagram shocked fans.

While his new look was first reported last April, that didn’t stop many news outlets commenting on Jamene’s makeover last week.
However, now the man himself has spoken out to silence talk about surgery, insisting his new appearance is just down to weight loss and a good Instagram filter.
“People keep claiming I've had a nose job and had work done to my face. I've not had a facelift, it is just a good Instagram filter,” he told the Daily Star Sunday.

His rep added; "He actually has just lost over a stone in weight and that uncovered amazing cheekbones. He went vegan at the turn of last year which kicked him on to a very healthy lifestyle."
After the reports about surgery surfaced, Jahmene took to Twitter, writing: “Before you speak THINK. T - is it true? H - is it helpful? I - is it inspiring? N - is it necessary? K - is it kind? #Think.”

The singer finished runner up to James Arthur on the 2012 series of ‘X Factor’, and went on to have a number one album with ‘Love Never Fails’ in 2013, He’s currently in the studio recording the follow up.
