Zayn Malik has unveiled a brand new song from his upcoming album, which it’s thought addresses his split from Perrie Edwards.

Last month, during an interview with Zane Lowe, Zayn (or ZAYN as he's now known) teased ‘It’s You’, a new track which dealt with his much-publicised break-up from Perrie.
He’s now debuted the song in full during a live performance on ‘The Tonight Show’ in America, marking his first TV appearance as a solo artist.

Speaking about the track last month, Zayn explained: “I just felt like I needed to put myself out there, just because it was a form of therapy for me and it did help me get through some shit.
“If I can help someone else at that time, that’s cool.”
Zayn and Perrie split over the summer
Presenter Jimmy Fallon also treated Zayn fans to a first look at the artwork for his debut album, ‘Mind Of Mine’, following his performance, which he's now shared on Instagram.
While the single cover for his chart-topping first single, ‘Pillowtalk’, featured a sultry shirtless snap of Zayn, the album art takes a different approach, showing a throwback photo of the singer as a young child… but with the noticeable addition of his trademark tattoos.
‘Mind Of Mine’ is released on 25 March, which coincidentally (or perhaps not…) marks one year to the day he made headlines the world over by announcing that he was leaving One Direction.
Since then, the group have continued as a four-piece, but recently revealed they’d be going on hiatus, releasing their final single for the time being, ‘History’, last month.
