The singer’s star turn at the ceremony didn’t exactly go to plan due to sound issues, but Adele was back at her best for this rendition of the track, co-written by Bruno Mars, which you can watch in the video above.

You can't keep Adele down for long

Ahead of her ‘Ellen’ performance, the ‘Hello’ singer spoke to the TV host about her Grammys incident, admitting that she was so upset that she “cried all day”.

“I was embarrassed,” she told Ellen. “I woke up the next morning to people in England being like, 'We still love you, don’t worry,' and I was like, 'I didn’t ask you if you still loved me, but thanks.' I was so embarrassed.

“I kept like spontaneously bursting into tears yesterday. But it was alright. I was fine.”

The star also revealed what happened, explaining that the microphones fell onto the piano strings at the beginning of the track.

Adele’s got a busy few months ahead of her, and in March, she’ll kick a UK tour with six dates at London’s O2 Arena.
