'Werewolf Nails' Are The Scariest New Manicure Trend

Halloween-meets-high fashion has just become a reality with a wild new nail art trend.

Introducing, 'werewolf nails' - a look that made its furry debut at New York Fashion Week, created by Jan Arnold, (co-founder of CND nail polish) for the Libertine a/w 16 show.

First, each nail was painted with Vinylux Weekly Polish in the shades 'Rubble' and 'Cream Puff', then the team glued brown or white faux fur to each nail using the Super Shiney High-Gloss Top Coat.

This very hairy trend isn't only taking off on the catwalk, it also seems to be making its mark on Instagram... and it's kind of scary:
