9-Week-Old Baby 'Snatched' From Home Found 'Safe And Well'

The baby boy who was taken from his home in Arleston, Telford, has been found "safe and well,” West Mercia Police said on Wednesday.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.

Officers were called to a house in Manor Road around 3pm following a report that the nine-week-old baby boy had been snatched.

Police said the baby was likely in the company of a 5ft 5-inch tall white woman with red-brown hair.

"She is also thought to have a lump under her nose and a gap between her front teeth," a police spokesperson said.

"She is believed to be between 30 and 40 years of age. She was last seen wearing an army green zip-up jacket and a small black bag over her shoulder," they added.
